Another successful year in the world of I-MED Pharma has come to an end, and it is with great pride that we take a moment to reflect upon what we have achieved as a company over the past year.
The 2022 year started off with a major change. In January, I-MED Pharma relocated to our new corporate headquarters in St. Laurent, QC. This larger building allows us to better serve our growing clientele and staffing requirements and offers a more optimized warehouse space to increase productivity in the order fulfillment process.
With our ever-present commitment to advancing the science of dry eye, our research & development team has grown to include exceptional talent that brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. Through their hard work and dedication, this team continues to focus their efforts on developing the most effective and advanced solutions to help manage dry eye disease.
In July, the latest dry eye innovation was launched in the form of a dry eye-friendly makeup remover. I-LID ’N LASH® EYE MAKEUP REMOVER is formulated specifically for dry eye patients and will not disrupt the tear film. It is ophthalmologist and dermatologist tested and is clinically proven to remove makeup. The addition of this product to our existing I-LID ’N LASH® ocular hygiene line provides doctors the ability to recommend a complete daily ocular hygiene regimen to their dry eye patients that will take them from morning through to nighttime. There are many new and exciting dry eye products in the works, so stay tuned to see what the Leader in Dry Eye will release next!
In September, our Senior Director of R&D and Product Development, Blair McEwen was off to Italy to support the Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society’s (TFOS) “A Lifestyle Epidemic Workshop”, which brought together the best minds in dry eye from around the globe. Our collaboration with TFOS is ongoing and we continue to support their initiatives to further advance dry eye research.
We are very proud to highlight the fact that our Founder and Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Ilan Hofmann, was featured prominently in the September issue of Optical Prism magazine where he was interviewed about his contributions to dry eye research, how I-MED Pharma first began, its trajectory over the years, and its constant focus on the science of dry eye. Our team was thrilled to be able to connect with our clients in person once again this year after a long pause due to Covid. Here are just a few of the shows that we exhibited at this year. We always look forward to seeing new and familiar faces at these events. Our friendly, informative sales team is always eager to greet you with a goodie bag and a smile.
The third quarter also brought big changes to our sales team with the addition of our new National Sales Manager.
We are pleased to announce the hiring of Jeffery Grech, who joined I-MED Pharma in September. Jeff brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this role. With his extensive sales background and strong leadership qualities, Jeff is a great addition to our sales and leadership team, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact he will bring to the organization. Jeff has hit the ground running and is focused on building client relationships, driving results, streamlining processes, and optimizing cross-functional collaboration. We are thrilled to have Jeff on board.
