Little Ray of Hope Learning Center – Kawangware School Scholarship – May 2022

I-MED Pharma is proud to be a supporter of Little Ray of Hope Learning Center – Kawangware School Scholarship.  An initiative of ICO (InnovativeCommunities.org) foundation, the Kawangware Scholarship program’s primary aim is to advance education in the area and provide funding and scholarships that will enable children to attend school. 100% of all scholarship donations go towards school fees, school supplies, transportation, uniforms, and meals. In addition, students will have access to services including a preventative health project (i.e., mosquito nets) and food hampers during school breaks for the families of Kawangware, Kenya.

The ICO vision is, “to support and strengthen the people in the communities we serve, we relieve poverty and advance education by connecting communities with resources through processes, technologies, grassroots involvement, team building and community-driven initiatives”.

Lupus Society of Alberta – April 2022

The Lupus Society of Alberta is a non-profit organization founded in 1973 to provide education and support for lupus patients and encourages research to find a cure.

I-MED Pharma is proud to support The Lupus Society of Alberta through a donation of hand sanitizers for their annual “Step Out for Lupus” 3K fundraising walk event held on April 30th, 2022. Funds are raised to further lupus research, promote public awareness, and provide education to the community.

FORSEE Canada – March 2022

I-MED Pharma is proud to be a supporter of FORSEE Canada (Foundation for Ocular Research & Surgical Eye Expeditions), a charitable organization striving for accessible eye care. Their team of ophthalmologists and health care providers advocate for equal access to eye health for all by collaborating with existing organizations within the community. Their goal is to eliminate preventable vision loss and blindness occurring due to a person’s circumstance.

FORSEE Canada also provides research opportunities and scholarships to Canadian medical students to facilitate clinical advances in the field of ocular health and ophthalmology.

This year, FORSEE Canada intends to continue and grow their outreach program in shelters and refugee homes in the Toronto area, as well as prepare for an international trip to Africa to help communities in need of eye care.

We continue to support FORSEE Canada’s mission with a recent monetary donation as well as a donation of our I-DROP® PUR and I-DROP® PUR GEL to help with their programs and initiatives for this year.

LSPIRG – February 2022

I-MED Pharma is proud to provide a donation to LSPIRG – Laurier Students’ Public Interest Research Group – for their Free Weekly Distro program located in Waterloo and Brantford, Ontario.

LSPRIG Distro provides free groceries and other essentials to Wilfrid Laurier University and Martin Luther University College students in an effort to challenge food insecurity. Students are welcome to come get the basics such as fresh groceries, non-perishable foods, hygiene products, and household cleaning products.

We are so pleased to learn that our donation of hand sanitizers is being handed out to those in need to help keep the students in these communities healthy and safe.

Southwest Crisis Services – January 2022

Serving the entire southwest corner of Saskatchewan, Southwest Crisis Services offers a free, safe shelter for women and their children who are leaving an abusive situation. This non-profit, community-based organization also offers a free & confidential 24-hour crisis help line which welcomes calls from anyone in need of support, regardless of gender or age.

I-MED Pharma is pleased to provide support to Southwest Crisis Services through a donation of hand sanitizers, which is being used by their staff and clients at their COVID-19 rapid testing station.

Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, this charitable organization has supported their community for over 35 years and serves over 300 individuals every year. Their mission is to provide a safe, stable, temporary refuge for individuals experiencing homelessness.

With gender-based violence continuing to see an increase during the COVID-19 pandemic, the services and support women’s shelters provide is more important than ever.

The mission of Gillian’s Place is to empower women and their children fleeing abuseby providing safety, support, and a range of services and to raise awareness about root causes to end the cycle of violence and abuse. Good Shepherd – June 2021

I-MED Pharma is pleased to support, through our donation of hand sanitizers, Good Shepherd, a charitable organization that provides critical support to the Hamilton area’s most vulnerable people.

Good Shepherd has been a compassionate presence in the community for almost 60 years, with services including emergency food and clothing; daily hot meals; emergency shelters for men, youth, families, women and children; transitional housing and education for homeless and street-involved youth; hospice palliative care; community mental health programs; and supportive housing programs.

The work of Good Shepherd is based on a fundamental belief in providing hope and restoring dignity to the most vulnerable members in the community.

Moisson Montréal ­- April 2021

I-MED Pharma is pleased to support Moisson Montréal, a registered charitable organization and the largest food bank in Canada distributing foodstuffs, through our donation of over 12,000 bottles of hand sanitizer.

Moisson Montréal is working toward ending food insecurity in Montreal. Their mission is to ensure an optimal food supply to community organizations that provide assistance to people in crisis while participating in the development of sustainable solutions to ensure food security.

MultiCAF – October 20, 2020

I-MED Pharma is delighted to have donated 75,000 items of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to MultiCaf, a great organization in Côte-des-Neiges that helps with food security and the fight against social exclusion.

With a mission to help the most vulnerable within the city of Montreal gain access to food resources in a safe and welcoming environment, MultiCaf continues to deliver on this mission during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I-MED Pharma donated KN95 masks, surgical masks, and face shields to MultiCaf to ensure the safety and security of their workers and the community they help.
